This was butchery to the first degree! There are a couple of bootlegs that are for this show and this is supposed to be the master, the other being 'Echoes Of Japanese Meddle' which I have not heard or have, because 'Echoes' is fragmented on all of them from what I have read. The song starts at the first verse and the middle section is cut. I can understand the constraints of vinyl, I have no idea why this was not broken down into two discs because of the time issues and also 'A Saucerful Of Secrets' was cut completely.
Other than that it was a great ROIO so if you don't care much for 'Echoes' then pick it up, a great performance as well, all the songs were good versions, CWTA,E was great with a really nice slow section until the absolute explosion of sound and some great screams from Roger.
There is a video floating around the internet of 'Atom Heart Mother' from this date, I have it but it is very bad quality and there is nothing really special about this song live from a visual standpoint. In this version there is some crap in the song but this might just be on my version.
The only other point of note was the final track 'Cymbaline' which includes the 'Doctor Who' riff that also crops up in the song 'One Of These Days' on the Meddle album which had been recorded a few months previously. For those of you who are not aware, 'Doctor Who' was a very famous English television science fiction show which ran from the 60's thru to even the present day.
Such a disappointment, I just can't forgive the cutting of Echoes. But if this one falls into your lap then grab it, certainly worth a listen but there are non-butchered boots out there which I will stick with.

First Night Of THE FAR EAST TOUR.Echoes was edited Down On This.This Roio seems To Be From THE Master REEL and Has Been edited To The Length Of a VINYL LP.The Sound quality Is An Excellent! Audience or Soundboard, Although It Must have been edited I Feel Maybe For A Vinyl Release.I Am Not sure If This Concert Appears On A Vinyl Bootleg But This fine CD Roio is From A TAPE REEL Not A Vinyl Rip.A Very good On The EARS FLOYD Roio as It is as good As the Better early 70's era Bootlegs.Great Performance.Again The EDITING On This Has Also Left Out The Encore Track Wich was A SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS.No Notes have Been Reported As This Being For A Radio Broadcast, So I Figure Plans For This Must Have Been For A Bootleg Vinyl release, If There Is Not One Out There Already.
