'Tearing Down The Coliseum Wall (Day 1)' - 25th February 1980 - The Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, NY

Sound Quality: B
Performance: B+
Overall: 3/5 Storage

This was a pretty good recording but a number of issues dropped it down a few notches for me. It is the best boot from this tour I have found so far though. I will keep looking. There was a lot of audience noise and it was borderline annoying but didn't detract too much from the experience.

The performance is pretty good, Roger's timing seems a little off in some places but lots of emotion, the highlight for me was 'What Shall We Do Now' a lot of emotion conveyed by Roger in this song, really good. Solos were pretty good in general but nothing mind blowing, 'Mother' deservers a mention, it is a little rough but I liked it and 'Comfortably Numb' was extended (although not to he timings of the Post-Waters era) but there were some issues, see the breakdown for details. Also the solos in 'Another Brick In The Wall, Part 2' were longer but a little uninspired in my opinion.

Track Breakdown (not a full listing just the noticeable things)

The Happiest Days Of Our Lives: There is a second or two of space at the end, so you get a delay (no it is a user error!)

Mother: The sound drops out for a second before the solo

Don't Leave Me Now: The volume went up and there is some distortion on some of the frequencies during the booms

Comfortably Numb: The sound drops out before the solo, sounds very 'fish bowly', good solo though, nice and long for the time.

Run Like Hell: Good version

This is a pretty good bootleg but it suffers from the ado issues where are too few to make it a recommendation.
