'Echoes In The Garden' - 18th June 1975 - Boston, USA

Sound Quality: A+
Performance: A
Overall: 5/5 iTunes

This is a great bootleg of a great show, the sound is amazing, if I was forced to be picky the vocals on the Dark Side portion of it were a little tiny bit muffled but it was an absolute joy to listen to this one.

The performance was brilliant as well, good amount of improvisation with Dave having a really great night with excellent solos throughout. Fine form, the only negative I could find was the wailing on 'Great Gig In The Sky', it was little off but other than that stunning.

The whole boot was a highlight but a couple of tracks warrant a special mention…

You've Gotta Be Crazy: This song is evolving before our ears and this ROIO is great, lots of variations, even from the original version on the British Winter Tour '74 ROIO I reviewed recently.

Have A Cigar: Really love this funky version with a truly great solo.

On The Run: Lots of differences from the album version.

Money: Great guitar and sax solos.

Any Colour You Like: I agree with the review on the original info, this is a really nice version really mellow and bluesy.

Pick this one up people, it is great bootleg.

Quality: SUP -HERWIG

Comments: AWESOME!! It's from a different and better source tape (on back of the CD it states their source is directly from the master reel to reel) than Crazy Diamond! The down note is that its spaced out onto 3 CD's for no reason whatsover. An extra 25.00 for nothing. They easily could have fit it onto 2 CDs. -MIKE

I never thought that there will ever be an audience recording which could be rated SUP, but here it is. This is simply the best sound quality you will ever encounter not coming from a soundboard or broadcast. I got goosebumps listening to this flawless RoIO and great performance. Listen to "Any Colour you like" and you will never be the same. Get it, get it. -HERWIG
